For nearly 20 years, Jason Schaplow, a licensed elevator mechanic, has provided trustworthy, reliable and excellent service for a wide variety of customers in the Greater Puget Sound.

He worked for one of the most reputable independent companies on the West Coast before striking out on his own, to take customer service to another, even higher level. Jason has a genuine passion for solving tough and complicated elevator problems and minimizing downtime.

While every elevator presents different challenges, Jason approaches each customer with the same promise: the customer comes first.

His old-school business philosophy is why customers can rely on him and his team, for honesty, consistent communication, and timely solutions.

When he isn’t meeting the needs of the elevator trade, Jason is a family man who loves spending time with his wife and daughter, playing music (especially guitar,) and working on classic cars.

Sarah has dedicated nearly 30 years to the customer service industry, beginning in Property / Facilities Management before transitioning into the Elevator industry. She went on to serve as General Manager at Seattle’s largest, most respected independent elevator company, followed by roles as Branch Manager and Senior Sales Manager at an OEM major.

What truly drives Sarah, however, is the shared values and trust she’s built with the Founder, Jason, with whom she worked closely for nearly a decade. This strong connection, combined with her authentic desire to bring a fresh perspective to the industry, led her to join Washington Elevator as an Owner & Partner in July 2022. Her passion lies in delivering exceptional customer experiences, helping to bring transparency into the industry and fostering long-term partnerships.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her two amazing teenagers (yes, she said amazing!), crabbing on Whidbey Island, and on a good night, you’ll find her enjoying a friendly competition with her husband over a game of cribbage!

There is nothing that Sean enjoys more than helping a customer solve an elevator issue. Since 2008, he has witnessed a deterioration in the services provided throughout the industry. Sean prides himself on being responsive and honest. He takes the time to educate elevator owners and help them understand their options. After spending time at various elevator companies, Sean joined Washington Elevator because he believes building owners and managers crave a company focused on people, not profits.

With more than 15 years of elevator experience, Sean’s goal is to proactively address all elevator issues so that you can focus on your business.

When Sean isn’t helping customers, you can find him playing on the soccer field, cheering on the Sounders and enjoying activities with his wife and their two young kids. Read more about Sean here.
