Mechanic Spotlight - Ryan

It’s time for this week’s Mechanic Spotlight. It’s time to get to know Ryan!

ELEVATOR EXPERIENCE: Ryan joined Washington Elevator in May 2024 as a service mechanic. He currently serves a large campus customer and surrounding properties in the central Seattle area. With experience in modernization, testing and service, Ryan also assists on projects that require extensive troubleshooting.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE. Prior to starting in the elevator industry, Ryan worked for a company installing phone and internet. (Washington Elevator has definitely benefited from this “bonus” knowledge!)

HOBBIES. When he’s not serving our customers, Ryan spends his time hitting the links. We won’t share his handicap to protect the innocent. When the weather doesn’t cooperate, he spends time driving an RC car from his large fleet.

WHAT HIS COWORKERS SAY ABOUT HIM. “I admire his drive and dedication in being the best mechanic in his trade. I appreciate his positive attitude no matter what he is working on.”

There is nothing that Sean enjoys more than helping a customer solve an elevator issue. Since 2008, he has witnessed a deterioration in the services provided throughout the industry. Sean prides himself on being responsive and honest. He takes the time to educate elevator owners and help them understand their options. After spending time at various elevator companies, Sean joined Washington Elevator because he believes building owners and managers crave a company focused on people, not profits.

With more than 15 years of elevator experience, Sean’s goal is to proactively address all elevator issues so that you can focus on your business.

When Sean isn’t helping customers, you can find him playing on the soccer field, cheering on the Sounders and enjoying activities with his wife and their two young kids.
