There’s been a change to code reports, have you heard?

Now What?

Instead of a physical letter, the deficiencies will be uploaded to the on-line portal. An email notification will ONLY be sent to the contact on file with the City. If you haven’t updated your contact information yet, simply use this form: Seattle SDCI Form - Conveyance and Boiler Site Contact Information Update Form

How do you know if you have an on-line due or overdue inspection code report?

  • Go to the Seattle Services Portal Find Trade & Equipment License Records - Seattle Services Portal | Seattle.gov

  • Under the “Record Type” select from the dropdown menu, “Conveyance Equipment Certification”.

  • Enter your “Record Number” (if you have it) or use the building “Address” if you do not. The “Record Number” is your conveyance number and starts with “EQP-CY-_____”. “EQP-SI-_____” is your site number, which is where the elevator is located.

  • Click “Search”.

  • Select Inspections & Appointments.

  • NOTE! The inspections are listed oldest to newest, be sure to check the date!

This is also where you can conveniently check for and pay the required annual operating permit for your conveyance.

As a friendly reminder, it is the building owner and/or representatives responsibility to review the items, make corrections and notify the City. Still confused or need help completing your report? Reach out to our Chief Problem Solver, Sean today!

Sarah strives to provide a positive customer experience in order to build a long-term partnership.

When she isn't leading the team, she loves spending time with her two amazing teenagers, crabbing on Whidbey Island, but on a good night, her favorite activity is beating her husband in a game of cribbage!
